The NDCSA is an organization composed of attorneys representing school districts within the state of North Dakota.
The Council, through its members, has as its primary objectives the following:
Providing continuing legal education seminars, networking opportunities, publications, and other services needed by attorneys to effectively represent their school board clients. To accomplish these objectives, members are provided with membership in the National Council of School Attorneys as a part of their state membership dues. In addition, members have access to all publications of the National Council of School Attorneys as well as the NDSBA monthly newsletter.
The North Dakota Council of School Attorneys conducts a School Law Seminar annually in conjunction with the annual convention of the North Dakota School Boards Association. The seminar is open to NDCSA members, administrators, and school board members. Its focus is to update members and school officials on the latest developments in North Dakota school law and to identify those areas where school administrators may need to seek legal assistance.
If your school attorney is not a member of the Council of School Attorneys, please encourage him or her to join. The fee is nominal, while the potential benefits to you and your attorney are substantial. If you are unsure whether your attorney belongs to the Council, please check the membership list.
